3 Translate the following paragraph into Chinese  
1)
The engine lathe, one of the most productive machine tools, has always been a very efficient means of producing round parts. Most lathes are programmed on two axes: a. The X-axis controls the cross motion of the cutting tool. b. The Z-axis controls the carriage travel toward or away from the headstock.2)
NC reduces the amount of non-chip-producing time by selecting speeds and feeds, making rapid moves between surfaces to be cut, using automatic fixtures, automatic tool changing, controlling the toolant, in-process gaging, and loading and uploading the part.3)
Servo controls can be any group of electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic devices which are used to control the position of machine tool slides. The most common servo control systems in use re the open-loop and the closed-loop systems.4)
NC programs and tapes can often be prepared by computer systems with very little help from the programmer. For example, a circuit board containing 2000 to 3000 holes can be designed using computer-aided design (CAD) equipment.

The speed of a machine tool spindle generally means the number of revolutions that the spindle makes in one minute of operation. The spindle speed rate (r/min) is generally governed by the work or cutter diameter, the type of cutting tool used, and the type of material being cut.6)
NC machine tools use a variety of methods to identify the various cutting tools which are used for machining operations. The most common methods of identifying tools are: tools pocked locations, coded rings on toolholders and tool assembly number.7)
An in-process gaging system is a way of monitoring what is happening to the workpiece and tools during the machining operations. It can also be used to compensate for tool wear and thermal growth, determine tool offsets and locate workpieces, etc.8)
Feed is the rate at which the work is fed into a revolving cutter. If the work is fed too slowly, time will be wasted, resulting in lost production, and cutter chatter, which shortens the life of the cutter, may occur. If work is fed too fast, the cutter teeth can be broken. Much time will be wasted if several shallow cuts are taken instead of one deep cut or roughing cut.

(1) There is automatic or semiautomatic operation of machine tools. The degree of automation can be selected as required.
(2) Flexible manufacturing of parts is much easier.
(3) Storage space is reduced.
(4) Small part lots can be run economically.
(5) Nonproductive time is reduced.
(6) Tooling costs are reduced.
(7) Inspection and assembly costs are lower.
(8) Machine utilization time is increased.
(9) Complex forms can easily be machined.
(10) Parts inventory is reduced.
2)There are five methods of interpolation:
(1) Linear Interpolation  Linear interpolation consists of any programmed points linked together by straight lines, whether the points are close together or far apart.
(2) Circular Interpolation  The circular interpolation in MCU breaks up the distance of each chord line into a series of the smallest movement increments caused by one single output pulse.
(3) Helical Interpolation  Helical interpolation combines two-axis circular interpolation with a simultaneous linear movement in the third axis.
(4) Parabolic Interpolation Parabolic interpolation has its greatest application in automotive dies, mold work, and any form of sculpturing.
(5) Cubic Interpolation  Cubic interpolation enables sophisticated cutter paths to be generated in order to cut the shapes of the forming dies in the automobile industry.
